ADMISSION POLICY

Pakistan Educational Academy (PAE) is an education community opens to students of all nationalities, where education is offer in English as a language of instructions. The school provides a high quality innovative, creative and challenging education. The school’s first priority to admit those students who are motivated determined and who’s academics performance is average to excellent.
The school complies with the following rules and regulations of KHDA;

  • Admissionsare open for all including Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Children.
  • Admissions are granted subject to the availability of seats.
  • Admissions from KG-1 to Grade - IX commence from third week of February, howeverthe admission date will be announced considering the holidays and any other commitments.
  • The parents are to do the registration first as per the fee structure after meeting the Admission In-charge.
  • At the time of registration parents have to fill up the form along with EMID copy of father and student.
  • Registered candidates are provided information about test / interview by the In-Charge Admission department.
  • The parents have to provide the school with the following documents in order to complete the admission process with KHDA.
  • Six Passport size photographs with blue or white backgrounds.
  • Two photocopies each of Passport and Visa if not provided at the time of registration.
  • Original Birth Certificate (immediately returned after the checking) with two photocopies.
  • If Birth Certificate is in Urdu, then, parents will require getting it translated into Arabic or English and get it attested from U. A. E. Consulate.
  • School Leaving Certificate (if it is from school located outside U.A.E) then Parent will require getting it attested from Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and U.A.E. consulate), if not provided at the time of admission.
  • Original vaccination card from Grade- I onwards is also required.
  • Students coming from Indian Board (CBSE) must provide an equivalence certificate.
  • The parents will be given one month’s time to complete the requisite documents and in any case the documents are not completed the school reserves the right to cancel the admission.
  • Candidates with incomplete documents (e.g., visa or school leaving certificate) will furnish an

UNDERTAKING as under:
“I, _____________, father / guardian of _____________ provisionally admitted in Class ________ Section _______ will provide the following document within 20 days. In case of failure, school will not be held responsible for cancellation of admission and not allowing the child to attend the class.”

Admission test for various classes will be conducted as under:

Kindergarten

  • Informal assessment based on reading level, vocabulary, concepts of numbers and colours, confidence / expression in spoken English will be carried out.
  • Judging pencil grasp.
  • I.Q level of the child.
  • Only grades are given not marks are allotted.
  • Successful candidates will be recommended for admission.
  • Admission In-charge will get the approval of the Principal on the basis of availability of seats.
Class I - VIII
  • List of candidates will be provided by the admission In-charge to respective Section Heads.
  • Written Test in core subjects of English, Urdu/Science and Mathematics are conducted.
  • Merit list duly prepared by Section Heads is given to the admission in-charge.
  • Admission In-charge following the merit list, get the approval of the Principalto adjust the candidates against available seats.
  • Upon approval from the Principal, applicants deposit the fee in account office, and studentsare guided to class / section with deposit slip containing the details of the students.
Class IX - X.

The last date of registration from FBISE is 30th April of the respective year and all the applications, must be submitted before the deadline. Only exceptional casesare acceptable after 30th April with the late fee as per FBISE BOARD rules.

  • List of candidates is provided by the admission In-charge to respective Section Heads.
  • Written Tests in English, Urdu, Mathematics and Science are conducted and marked by the respective Section Heads.
  • Only the student appearing from the same board (FBISE) in grade 9 are admitted in grade 10.
Class XI - XII

Applications must be submitted before the last date of registration from FBISE. Only exceptional casesare acceptable after 30th August with the late fee as per FBISE BOARD rules.

  • List of registered candidates is provided by the Admission In-charge to respective Section Heads.
  • Written tests in English, Urdu, Arabic, Mathematics and Science will be prepared, conducted and marked by the respective section heads.
  • Steps given in Para-10(II) b, c and d are followed.
  • Only the students appearing from the same board (FBISE) in grade XI are admitted in grade XII.
  • Students coming from other Boards must provide an equivalence certificate.
  • Students coming from other Board in Grade 11 (Karachi, Lahore etc.) they must provide an Original Migration Certificate from their previous Board.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION TO F.A/F.SC PART I

 

For Students Qualified SSC from Pakistan Education Academy;

  • Pre-Medical and Pre-Engineering 60 % Marks in SSC Exam
  • Computer Science and Commerce 50% Marks in SSC Exam
  • Humanities 40% Marks in SSC Exam

For Students Qualified SSC from Other Institutes/Boards;

From FBISE

  • Pre-Medical and Pre-Engineering 70 % Marks in SSC Exam
  • Computer Science and Commerce 60% Marks in SSC Exam
  • Humanities 60% Marks in SSC Exam

Original Mark sheet must be attested from the concerned board along with the school leaving Certificate for students coming from different boards in Pakistan.

Other Boards and Levels (IGCSE)

  • Pre-Medical and Pre-Engineering 70 % Marks in SSC Exam
  • Computer Science and Commerce 70% Marks in SSC Exam
  • Humanities 60% Marks in SSC Exam

Those from other boards, if found weak in academics during interview will be given a chance to appear in Written Entry Test and will be granted admissions in Humanities Group only and they are required to submit Equivalence Certificate from IBCC for O level & CBSE.
